Kate believes everyday is an opportunity for progress and new achievements. She empowers her clients with the skills and knowledge to maximise their potential and achieve their goals. She constantly seeks improvement and is currently working towards a certification in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the American College of Sports Medicine.
Kate has practised widely across multiple Physiotherapy settings and is skilled in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation as well as pre and post-operative management and recovery. Kate has special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions and chronic pains. She particularly enjoys working with the elderly population and management of chronic conditions.

Phillip has worked for 20 years on European Golf Tour as a fitness and mental training consultant. In addition Phillip has worked in the fitness industry back here in Melbourne where he has provided exercise personal training and advice to clients ranging from successful athletes to the sedentary office worker.

 

Phillip is serious about getting you back to a "fitter"  you. 

 

 

 

 

 
Jillian McNamara - Administrator 
 

Most people know Jillian for her positive, caring, and helpful nature.  She is a firm believer that a smile can go a long way. New to Melbourne from New York, Jillian loves 

assisting people from all different walks of life and insuring the top care for every patient.  

 

Before joining the Maxvale Physiotherapy team, Jillian worked as a Receptionist and 

Lifeguard at a Sports Club in New York.  Jillian currently hold an Associates Degree in

Liberal Arts from a Long Island University. Her love for health, fitness, well-being and helping others makes her feel right at home in her position while she hopes to continue her education. 

 

When she has free time, Jillian takes full advantage of exploring all that Australia has to offer. She has particularly fallen in love with the street art of the Melbourne streets and the many cafes and cappuccinos. A real animal lover Jillian loves taking her dog on hikes and to check out the local markets.

 

To maintain her healthy lifestyle, Jillian love to swim, bike and practice yoga.

Demi Parasidis - Receptionist 
 

Demi is known for being optimistic, friendly and kind. She believes that having a positive attitude can brighten any situation. Her caring nature suits her role here at the front desk, as she loves helping every patient and making their experience a pleasant one.

 

Demi is a full time Uni student, currently studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University. Demi has previous customer service experience, which provides her with excellent communication skills. She also loves working within a team environment, and has obtained many experiences similar through her community service work.

 

When Demi is not working or studying, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Demi spends a lot of her time with her grandparents and trying different cafes and restaurants with friends. She loves having a balanced lifestyle and a healthy mental and physical well-being, through going on walks with her dog, doing pilates and meditation.

 

Demi is fluent in English, Greek and is studying Mandarin.

 

Tian Liu - Receptionist 
 

Tian has great interest in dance, the gym, tennis, piano and fashion. Tian has a soft spot to help people with their needs. She seeks constant personal growth and takes on to feedbacks in hopes to make greater personal improvements. She is well known by her peers as a very happy and bubbly person, who enjoys meeting people and loves a good chat with them. When you meet Tian remember to say Hi!

Vanessa Toh - Receptionist 
 

Vanessa is highly passionate in the area of exercise rehab, strength and conditioning, as well as athlete performance optimisation and sports injuries management. And is currently in the process of completing level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach Accreditation Course. 

Vanessa prides herself as an enthusiastic, self- motivated, and always striving for constant improvement and personal growth. Vanessa loves to give back to the society by volunteering with disabled young people . It also has taught her to take initiative, assume new responsibilities, and develop stronger emotional intelligence, interpersonal and communication skills. Vanessa values building good relationships with people and she believe that each individual client has unique needs, which in turn require different levels of care. 

Vanessa is fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay and Italian.
